This vintage hostess maxi dress is insane with the huge William Morris print fabric in shades of green. It's heavy fabric, most likely furnishing fabric as this dress was handmade and although it's rather fabulous the finishing is mostly amateurish and I suspect it was made for a costume rather than as a fashion item. However, it would make a wonderful gown for a photo shoot or as a costume for theatre, etc.

The bust measures taken at the bottom of the armholes is 34" but you must take the back across the shoulders measurement into consideration, which is quite narrow at 13". I was not able to completely fasten the zip all the up on the mannequin, which is a medium size manni. 

From the narrow shoulders the fabric billows out in a wide sweep A-line to the hem, making quite the statement.

Condition: Good condition, wearable it just has a few light marks on inside, see pix. It has been washed in the machine but these may come out more with further or a hotter wash, they don't show on the front side.
