Skills Required: You will need to be able to work in basic stitches.
Yarn Type: We've made this in both a in a DK weight, and in our . Both available in our yarn shop.
Yarn Weight: Double knit ( see your size for quantity)
Needles: One pair each of 3.25mm (US 3) and 3.75mm (US 5) straight needles.
Tension:
27 sts x 30 rows over 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) in mistake rib st using 3.75mm (US 5)
17 sts x 30 rows over 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) in bee st using 3.75mm (US 5)
A note on size:
This is a very generous fit cardigan, depending on which yarn you use will affect the drape. If you need some advise on which size or yarn to choose send as a message and we'l try to help you out. Note the finished chest includes the sleeves, and is a cuff to cuff measurement.

Size One
To fit Chests 81 -91.5cm / 32 -36in
Knitted measurements approx: Width 120cm / 47¼, length 54cm / 21¼in
You will need: 6-7, 100g skeins ( or 12-13, 50g balls)
Size Two
To fit Chests 96.5 -106.5/ 38 -42 in
Knitted measurements approx: Width 140cm / 55in, length 64cm /25¼in
You will need: 8-9, 100g skeins ( or 16-17 50g balls )
Size Three
To fit Chests 111.5 -122/ 44 -48 in
Knitted measurements approx: Width 160cm / 63in, length 74cm /29in
You will need: 11-12 x 100g skeins ( or 21-23 50g balls)
50g(approx. 120m / 131yds), 100g ( approx. 215/m/ 235yds)
Please note: The Purelife Organic cotton has been discontinued by Rowan. You can substitute it with most Double Knit weights, that are of similar gauge .
