An incredible vintage womens evening dress from the 80s by luxury British fashion designer, Murray Arbeid. Known for creating opulent eveningwear in luxury fabrics for prolific clientele including Shirley Bassey and Princess Diana.
This dress is from Arbeid's Autumn-Winter 1988 collection and the red version of this dress was featured on the runway (which was cleverly displayed using mannequins instead of models'. In a sumptuous pure silk purple satin which drapes into a swirled rose design on the front and a huge voluminous tulip skirt that is supported by three tulle layers and an underskirt for a structured hourglass silhouette. The bodice is boned and overlaid with a black sequinned lace.
Size: Unlabelled; measures roughly like a UK 6 / US 2 with a larger bust (but padded cups could be sewn in or the bust could be taken in to give a more snug fit). Please check the measurements.

Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition - No noticeable stains, tears or holes. Please note: the zip does work but the dress didn't fit our UK 8/ US 4 mannequin.
